Redshirted in 2004, Jared played on the defensive line for the Hawkeyes from 2005 - 2007 and was selected for the Defensive Team Leader Award all 3 years. In the Spring of 2008 the coaching staff requested that Jared move to the offensive side of the ball to provide greater depth at the fullback position. Congratulations to Jared for his contributions to the Iowa Hawkeye program.
